White House Hid Johnny Depp-Hosted Secret 'Alice In Wonderland' Party. Disney announced the news officially Friday, setting a May 27 release for Alice 2, which will be directed by James Bobin. In another high-profile move, Disney set an Oct. 9, 2015, release date for Jon Favreau's Jungle Book. He'll direct the live-action pic from a script by Justin Marks.
