James Cameron goes to Cirque du Soleil
"Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away" in 3D is to be the world premiere opener of Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) on Oct. 20
The cinematic version of Cirque du Soleil’s extravagant acrobatic stage shows is executive produced by James Cameron, whoseTitanic opened the 1997 edition of TIFF with its world premiere. Adamson (Shrek) wrote, directed and produced the project, which is scheduled for a December release, for Paramount Pictures.
