The best film of 2011 was named the film by Andrei Smirnov "Once there was a woman."  "Nika" for best director was Andrei Zvyagintsev, who shot the film "Helena". In the category of "Best Actress" was won by just two actresses - Daria Ekamasova and Nadezhda Markina.
