American film director Vadim Perelman began to work on the TV-series with the working title "Ashes" by the script writer Eduard Bagirov ("Guest workers")
The main roles are played by Vladimir Mashkov, Yevgenyi Mironov, Sergei Garmash, Chulpan Khamatova and Petr Mamonov. Shooting the series will begin in late March and will be held in the Leningrad region and Karelia
