The "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise star topped the list for the second year in a row while Clint Eastwood and Denzel Washington tied for second place, despite the fact that neither Eastwood nor Washington were seen in a film in 2011
According to the poll, Eastwood is a favorite amongst men and Southerners while Depp is favored by women, Republicans, Independents, Baby Boomers, Gen Xers, and Americans who live in the East, West and Midwest.
Washington was a favorite with Moderates and George Clooney is beloved by the 66 and over age group.
Other actors who placed on the poll include Tom Hanks in fourth place, John Wayne in fifth place, Clooney in sixth place, Sandra Bullock in seventh place, Harrison Ford in eighth place and Will Smith in ninth place.
Adam Sandler rounds out the list in 10th place.
