A film by Shawn Levy "Real Steel" will start In theaters October 7
A future-set story where robot boxing is a popular sport and centered on a struggling promoter (Jackman) who thinks he's found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he also discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father
The film is based on Richard Matheson's short story Steel, which was previously adapted as an episode of The Twilight Zone. Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum), the film also stars Anthony Mackie (Hurt Locker), Kevin Durand (Robin Hood) and Dakota Goya as Charlie’s son.
